Vikings to visit Halifax in Challenge Cup

WIDNES Vikings will visit Co-operative Championship rivals Halifax in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup.

It is a chance for Widnes to avenge last season’s defeat in the play-offs at The Shay.

On the league scene last season, the teams drew on the Halifax ground 26-26.

Ties will be played on the weekend of April 4-5. The tie of the round sees St Helens visit Leeds Rhinos.
