New-look Vikings to star on catwalk

WIDNES Vikings will unveil their 2009 home and away kits to fans at a special evening at Stobart Stadium Halton on Tuesday, December 9.

The event will include a fashion show at which players and the Stobart Dancers will model both the new kit and a whole range of O’Neill’s merchandise, which will be available on the night.

The new range includes hoodies, polo shirts, rain jackets, fleeces, kids’ t-shirts, ladies polo shirts and fleeces, beanies, woollen hats and umbrellas.

Head coach Steve McCormack will also announce the 2009 squad numbers and there will be an opportunity for fans to meet the new line-up and take part in a question-and-answer session.

The fashion show will start at 8pm after the 1993 Challenge Cup semi-final between Widnes and Leeds has been shown on a big screen.

Admission is £3 with all proceeds going to charity. Tickets will be available from the Stobart Stadium Halton reception from Thursday, November 27 during normal office hours and on a first come, first served basis.

Fans are advised there will be limited parking on the evening of the event due to an Everton Reserves fixture.
