TONIGHT’S National League One clash against Salford City Reds at Stobart Stadium Halton promises to be all the more spectacular thanks to a half-time stunt.

Pizza delivery firm Domino’s has teamed up with the Red Devils to parachute a pizza into the stadium as part of a feast of entertainment at the game.

Seven Red Devils team members, dressed in Domino’s Pizza uniforms, will jump from up to 10,000ft.

The skydivers will freefall at up to 120mph before deploying their parachutes and landing in the stadium to deliver a pizza to one lucky fan in the crowd.

For the next two weeks Domino’s Pizza in Widnes Road is offering all Widnes customers home delivery of “any pizza, any size” for £9.99.
