Hero ‘Chariots’ makes quarter-final draw

THE draw for the Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-finals, in which Widnes Vikings hope to be included, takes place on Monday, May 12.

The draw will be broadcast ‘live’ as part of the Sportsday programme, starting at 6.45pm on the BBC News Channel.

Widnes RLFC legend Martin Offiah is to be a studio guest and will help to make the draw along with representatives of the tournament partner Leeds Metropolitan University.

The BBC News Channel is available on digital TV (Channel 80 on Freeview, Sky 503, Tiscali 501 and Virgin Media 601). It is also freely available via the BBC News website.

The Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of Saturday May, 31 and Sunday, June 1.
