CENTRE Gareth Morton has been drafted by his former Vikings boss Steve McCormack into Scotland’s 17 for their second Rugby League World Cup game in Australia.
For tomorrow’s clash with Fiji at Bluetonge Stadium in Gosford, Bravehearts head coach McCormack makes eight positional changes in all.
Winger Wade Liddell and prop Neil Lowe are other fresh faces on duty along with Morton, who was briefly at Stobart Stadium Halton last season.
Scotland aim to bounce back from a 36-18 loss to France at Canberra Stadium in their opening pool game.
“Since our loss to France, our preparation for this match has been excellent and the boys are really looking forward to the challenge of playing Fiji,'' said McCormack, who has lost Vikings’ forward Lee Paterson to a cruciate ligament injury.
