THIRD Division Halton Royal British Legion knocked out second division Village Wildebeests in style after a 464 -224 hammering – Ashley Ormson 92-31 Paul Martin 95-25 and Peter Quinn 91-22 in a totally one sided match.

Birchfield B beat USC A by 80 to claim the match 390-310 – John Jones 76-38 and Ant Clarke 73-22 being the difference.

Stadium C moved into the semi’s after a great 359-327 win over Fords B – Ben Karalius taking the man of the match for the Stadium.

WCC B thumped Farnworth B 457-283 – Dave Coram 78-27 and Joe Parry 65-25 sharing the spoils.

WIDNES Cons B beat a strong HGSC side 384-378 – Mark Worrall 75-48 with a top notch performance.

Farnworth A put paid to WCC C 326-242 – John Tollitt 73-36 and Paul Worth 79-19 including a 40 break.

WBC eased past Simms Cross A 459-373 – John Tighe 53-46 taking all the plaudits.

Farnworth Knights moved into the next round after beating Holy Family 344-285 – Tom Sheehy 52-39 and Karl Davenport 66-23.
