Hall cleared for next round with Powell

FRIDAY night saw the President Pairs (Best of Three Legs) RTB games played.

At the Birchfield, Chris Hall & Dave Powell and Peter Jerram & Dave Batty both won their first round games with out conceding a leg, but as they met in the card final it was pushed to a deciding final leg, which was taken by Chris Hall & Dave Powell to progress into the next round.

At the Corpy Club, Round One saw Ray Booth & Mark Harrison win two games to one. In Round Two, Billy Fox & K Horabin took their match in two straight legs, whilst Karl Windisch & J Barber won in two games to one. Their opponents M Brick & D Brick hit a 18 dart display in their winning leg. In Round Three, Karl Windish & J Barber won in two straight legs, including 15 and 16 dart displays.

At Cricketers Arms, In Round One, Russ Hardman & Lol Fonterigo won two games to one. In Round Two Luke Carey & Daz Attwood won in two games to one, including a 14 darter, whilst Mick Davies & A Davies won in two straight legs. In Round Three, Mick Davies & A Davies won the match with two games to nil, including a 15 dart leg.

At Farnworth SSC, Round One saw Brian Abbott & Keith Glover win in two straight legs. In Round Two, Ian Argent & Dave Pickles won their match in two straight legs, whilst Joe Price & Barry Stanners won in two games to one. In Round Three, Joe Price & Barry Stanners won again, to go through to the next round. At Halton Stadium, In Round One Paul Mason & Peter Mason went through unopposed, as they also did in Round two, whilst Alan Friar & Paul Linger won in two straight legs. In Round Three, Alan Friar & Paul Linger completed the double, winning again in two straight legs, including a 15 dart display.

At Hough Green SC, In Round One, A Green & Ian Wall took the round in two games to one, including 11 and 13 dart games. In Round Two they won again, this time in two straight legs. In the same round, Paul Batty & Glyn Owen won in two games to one. In Round Three, Paul Batty & Glyn Owen took the match in two straight legs.

At Majors Arms, Dan Morris & Dean Morris completed the double, winning two games to nil in both Rounds One and Two. Paul Woodward & Paul Black took their Round Two match in two games to one. In Round Three, Paul Woodward and Paul Black took the match in two straight legs

At Mill Brow SC, In Round One, Ste Bury & Chris Bright and Jason Haddock & Scott Grady (14 darts) took their matches in two straight legs. In Round Two, Ste Bury & Chris Bright won in two games to one. At Moorfield SC, In Round One Andy Abbott & J Bennett and Alan Magee & Terry Roach all went through in two straight legs. In Round Two Andy Abbott & J Bennett won in two games to one.

At RAOB, Bing Gray & Joe Pennington opened the card with a two games to nil win, whilst Carl Bryan & Keith Allen was taken to a deciding third game before going through. In the final contest Carl Bryan & Keith Allen proved to be the strongest winning in two straight legs.

At Simms Cross Institute, In Round One Gordon White & M Smith went through unopposed, whilst Rob Farrington & Tommy Robertson won in two games to one.In Round Two, Rob Farrington & Tommy Robertson won thei match in two games to one. At Wellington, In Round One J Blakeley & T Ainsworth went through unopposed, whilst M Smith & J Brown won in two straight legs. Un Round Two, M Smith & J Brown won their match in two straight legs.

At Widnes Bowling Club, In Round One Dave Herley & J Leather won in two games to one, whilst Adam Mellor & Jamie Donegan won in two straight legs, including an 18 dart display. In Round Two, Adam Mellor & Jamie Donegan took the match in two games to one, with their opponents Dave Herley & J Leather taking an 11 dart leg.

At Widnes Cricket Club, In Round One, S Morris & P Woodward won in two straight legs, as did Alan Clark & Joe Batty. In Round Two, Alan Clark & Joe Batty did the double, winning again in two straight legs, including an 18 dart game.

At Widnes RUFC, Paul Woods & M Jones won the first game by two games to one, whilst Ste Lowe & Derek Peach progressed with a two game straight win. In the card final however a 16 dart game by P Woods & M Jones proved decisive as they triumphed by two games to one.

At the Corpy Club, in Round One, Dave Jackson & Jeff Thompson won in two straight legs, as did Carl Hackney & John Glover. In Round Two, Dave Jackson & Jeff Thompson took the match in two games to nil.
