WIDNES CONS B had a great 5-1 win over WCC this week – Tommy Worrall 130-94 and Leo Milne 130-67 both in good form.
Village Titans also amassed a 5-1 victory this time over WBC – Excellent final frames from Danny Magee 130-73 and Matty Jackson 130-98 including a 47 break.
Widnes Cons A beat USC 4-2 away from home – Andy Gartshore 130-51 and Peter Kenny 130-38 stealing the show.
Farnworth B continue to shine as they beat Simms Cross A 4-2 – Norman Beesley 130-92 and superstar Hughie Farrell 130-81 taking all the plaudits (Lee Thomas had a 47 break for ‘Simmies’).
SNOOKER
Division One
MILLBROW A hammered Simms Cross A 8-1 – Norman Locke jnr 67-41 and Norman Locke snr 79-21 taking no prisoners.
Fords A were 6-3 winners away to Stadium A – Chris Whitfield started the rout 78-25 and Jim Jenkins rounded it all off with a 96-17 winning frame.
WCC A also won 6-3 at home to USC A – Billy Webster 72-34 and Rob Taylor 72-36 sharing the spoils.
Village Galacticos beat St Josephs A 5-4 – Andy Molyneux 107-10 including a superb 79 break and Matty Jackson 62-33 including a 40 clearance.
Overton MH were 5-4 winners at home to RAOB – Chris Achilles 80-42 and Ian White 78-32 amongst their winners.
Division Two
USC B thumped WCC C 8-1 – Paul Antrobus 69-37 and League Secretary John Twist 84-39 both with great wins.
Runcorn Cons A also won 8-1 away to St Josephs B – Rob Fretwell 73-19 and Kyle Farrington 103-25 including a 31 break proving too much on the night.
Farnworth A were 6-3 winners at home to Corporation – Paul Worth 72-8 and John Tollitt 64-31 (Obviously Hughie Farrell won as usual).
Birchfield B beat HGSC 6-3 – John Shaw 61-58 and Bob Randles 72-50.
Division Three
VILLAGE C were superb in their 9-0 whitewash over Birchfield A – Lee Dyer 84-21 and Paul Hawkins 66-21 both in great form.
HRBL beat Farnworth B 8-1 – Peter Quinn 68-30 including a 32 break and Brian Connolly 103-10 providing the entertainment whilst the club provided the friendly atmosphere and buffet.
Holy Family move into top spot after a 7-2 victory over Stadium C – Mark Freeman 85-24 including a 32 break and Brian Mercer 65-32.
WBC were 6-3 winners over Farnworth Knights – Ben Lyon 82-22 and John Tighe 52-43.
RWMC had a 5-4 win away to Simms Cross B – Lee Gascoigne 71-32 and Dave Ellison 77-34 the stars of the show.
Prescot Reform A earned a 5-4 home win over WCC B – Carl Minshall 87-11 and Dave Minshall 64-43.
Prescot Reform B also won 5-4 against Widnes Cons B – Jim Furbank 78-36 and Wayne Clare 63-42.
