Three charged with manslaughter over dead body found in garden in Hough Green, Widnes

TWO juveniles and an adult have been charged with manslaughter over the death of a Liverpool man who was found dead in Widnes.

The body of Alex Newcombe, 23, was discovered in a garden in Hough Green, Widnes, on August 30.

Detectives charged Paul Smith, 20, of Eversley, and a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy.

A Cheshire police spokeswoman said: “They were given conditional bail and will appear at Runcorn Magistrates Court on March 6.

“No further action was taken against two men, aged 22 and 20, also from Widnes.”
