‘Stealth’ UFO over Liverpool Road, Widnes, could have been drone says journal of strange phenomena

A UFO over Widnes could have been a unmanned drone, a respected journal of strange phenomena has claimed.
Jenny Randles, writing in the Fortean Times July edition said the sighting was similar to other incidents that could be explained by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The incident was originally reported in the Weekly News on May 12 after student Laurence Baker, 17, claimed to have seen a black orb flying over Liverpool Road on May 4.
