Runcorn Freemasons present more than £5,000 to Halton Haven Hospice

THE Freemasons in Runcorn brought a smile to the faces of staff at Halton Haven Hospice when they donated cheques totalling £5,300.

The sum was handed over to Halton Haven’s Shaun Pollard, director of commercial services and Paula Widdas, fundraising manager.

Shaun told members that the donation was needed to complete the refurbishment of the entrance and patient areas. Work on the scheme has been ongoing for the past year.
