General Motors and US Energy Department fuel cell experts joins Acal Energy in Heath Business Park in Runcorn

AN ALTERNATIVE energies expert who headed General Motors’s fuel cell car team has joined a Runcorn firm as non-executive director.
Dr Byron McCormick takes his place on the board at Heath-based Acal Energy to help drive the company’s development of fuel cell car engines.
Dr McCormick brings a wealth of experience, having previously held posts on the US Energy Department’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory, and most recently as General Motors’ fuel cell car development executive director.
