A SPECIAL envoy of the Canadian government has paid a visit to a flourishing Runcorn firm.
Jennifer Daubeny, counsellor of trade, investment, science and technology for the High Commission of Canada headed to Progressive Solutions at The Heath Business Park for a tour of the facility.
The company is Canadian-owned and one of only a handful of successes for inward investment by Canadian companies in the North West.
Managing director Arthur Duffy said: “It was a pleasure to welcome her to Progressive House and to demonstrate why our Canadian board continues to invest in the region.
“North West England is an ideal location for our business and the decision to site a new service and development centre at The Heath and the creation of a number of new jobs reflects our strong performance and ambitions for growth.”
