DETECTIVES are investigating the death of a man who fell through the roof of a business premises in Runcorn.
The body of Paul Giannasi, 24, was discovered at 8am on Saturday, January 30.
Cheshire Police and other emergency services attended and Mr Giannasi was later identified. A Home Office post mortem has been carried out and early indications suggest he fell through the roof of the building and died as a result of multiple injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
And detectives want to establish Paul Giannasi's whereabouts in the hours leading up to his death and have appealed for witnesses who may have seen him in Runcorn town centre pubs and bars on the evening of Friday, January 29.
In particular they want to hear from anyone who saw Mr Giannasi in or around Bridge Street area between 9pm and the early hours of Saturday morning.
