CHILDREN from a Widnes school formed an orchestra using Nintendo DS Lite games machines as musical instruments.
Pupils from Our Lady Of Perpetual Succour Catholic Primary School played at the opening of a Liverpool exhibition, organised by the city’s Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), entitled Space Invaders – Art and the Computer Game Environment which runs until February 21.
The kids joined artist and regular FACT associate Ross Dalziel to use PixelH8’s Tech Master Chiptune software for the DS Lite system.
The project was part of Halton Borough Council’s small school arts cluster.
