Widnes and Runcorn experts contribute to diabetes booklet

A BOOKLET aimed at helping Runcorn and Widnes diabetic patients and their carers is being made available across the borough.
The booklet is the result of a team effort between a range of health agencies.
An estimated 24,000 people across Halton, St Helens and Warrington are confirmed diabetics.
The booklet has been available from GP surgeries since Friday, November 14, and was produced to coincide with World Diabetes Day.
Health experts from all three boroughs have contributed information for the booklet, which has already seen significant support from patients, relatives and carers.
