THE NORTH West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust enjoyed improved performance ratings in this year’s annual health check by the new health and social care regulator for England.
The trust this year achieved a ‘good’ performance rating in the category of quality of financial management and a ‘fair’ rating for quality of services by the Care Quality Commission.
A spokesman for NWAS said: “The annual health check provides a good opportunity for trusts to prioritise and focus on areas of improvement, so we welcome these results.”
