PLANS which could pave the way for 13 new homes near the Weates Close estate have been passed despite a string of objections.
Halton Council’s development control committee gave outline planning permission for the houses and car parking, at a meeting on Monday, July 6.
The decision means that applicant Marston’s Plc can now move ahead with a development on land next to the Eight Towers pub.
A report to the development control committee, said that 11 objectors had voiced concerns on matters ranging from increased traffic to the physical layout of the scheme.
However, officers dismissed the concerns.
