PUPILS at a Runcorn school raised a large cash sum to help other children.
The Grange Infant School pupils collected nearly £900 for Barnardo’s, after they were sponsored to take an egg home, boil it and paint it – and return it to school without breaking it!
They achieved the impressive sum in just 10 days. It will fund Barnardo’s campaigns to help neglected, deprived and other unfortunate children.
A school spokeswoman said: “They’re fantastic. They always do really well when they do something like this.”
