Housing trust welcomes new faces

HALTON Housing Trust has appointed two new members to its management board.

Sheila Large and Margaret Walsh were elected by the trust customer board and will serve until 2011.

Mrs Large was a tenant on Runcorn’s Grange estate for 14 years and Mrs Walsh has been involved with the trust’s customer newsletter.

She is currently studying for a qualification to improve her knowledge of the housing sector.

Mrs Large has experience in regeneration and identifying needs of neighbourhoods, securing funding and implementing improvement plans.

Fellow customer representatives Helen Bushell and Maureen MacFarlane have also been reappointed for a second term.

David Felix has been re-appointed as chairman of the board and Dave Merrill as its vice-chair.
