Priory to host annual Apple Day

NORTON Priory hosts its annual Apple Day on Sunday.

Those attending can play apple bobbing and apple skittles, learn about apples, and look at a traditional apple press and try creating the world’s longest apple peel.

Other activities include making bird boxes and feeders, watching birds of prey from Vale Royal Falconry, and willow weaving and rag-rug art.

There will also be a country market selling books, cakes, jelly juices, fruit and gifts.

The event is in the priory’s historic Walled Garden where traditional produce is grown.
