Cheshire police continue search for Widnes man Keith Fitzpatrick

CHESHIRE police is continuing the search for a Widnes man reported missing from home almost a week ago.

Search teams and specialist units including air support and dog patrols have conducted searches around the West Bank area of Widnes in the hope of finding clues that may lead to establishing Keith Fitzpatrick’s whereabouts.

The 26-year-old is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, with medium length brown hair and a short brown beard.

When last seen he was wearing a black collared North Face coat, blue jeans and black trainers.

He was reported missing on Monday evening, January 30 from his home in West Bank.

He has links in the Huyton and Widnes areas.

Chief Inspector Bev Raistrick said: “We are extremely concerned for Keith’s welfare, especially given the exceptionally cold weather conditions we have experienced over the last few days.

“He has not been in touch with any of his friends or family which further compounds our concern for him.

“We have committed a significant number of resources in the search for Keith, and appeal to anyone who may have seen him, or anyone matching his description since Monday evening, to contact us.

“Similarly, I would extend the appeal to Keith himself – we are very concerned about you and urge you to make contact with Cheshire Police or your nearest Police station.”

Keith’s car, a beige Lexus estate, has since been located near to his home in West Bank.

Cheshire police can be contacted on 101.
