Police call on residents to identify alleged thief who allegedly stole GT Vertigo BMX from Halfords, on Lugsdale Road, Widnes

POLICE have called on residents to help them identify an alleged BMX thief who struck in Widnes.

A Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman said the man carried a brown GT Vertigo BMX worth £190 out of Halfords on Lugsdale Road at approximately 7.15pm, on Wednesday, November 25.

Police have asked anyone who can identify the suspect to call PC Christian White at Widnes Police Station on 0845 458 0000.

They have also appealed to the man himself to come forward and assist them with their enquiries.
