THE LATEST phase of regeneration work in Castlefields was unveiled last week.
The ribbon was cut on 25 new homes at the £3m Muncaster Court development on Friday, June 26.
The project has been funded by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and the Plus Dane Group, and marks the first phase in the major multi-agency regeneration of the Castlefields Village Square centre - part of the wider Castlefields programme.
Deborah McLaughlin, HCA’s regional director, said: “It is a real milestone in the regeneration of the Castlefields estate that Muncaster Court is now completed and residents have moved in.
“This development marks the first step towards the creation of a vibrant Village Square where shops, community facilities and meeting places will naturally cluster. It will play a central role in giving the estate and the local people a brighter and more fulfilling future.”
