Your Champions nominations closed for 2008

Nominations have now closed for this year's ScottishPower/Trinity Mirror Cheshire Your Champions awards.

Thank you to everyone who nominated their champions in the local community. Nominations have been received for the five categories (Champion of the Year, Champion School of the Year, Champion Team of the Year, Sporting Champion of the Year and Young Champion of the Year) across Cheshire and North East Wales. The judging process is now taking place and the initiative will culminate in a glittering awards presentation at the Crowne Plaza in Chester on 14 November.
