Nanoco nanotechnology firm opens laboratory at Heath Business Park in Runcorn

A NANOTECHNOLOGY firms extending its operations to Runcorn.
Nanoco Technologies Ltd will begin work at Heath Business and Technical Park (BTP) next month.
Manchester-based Nanoco Technologies Ltd designs and manufactures quantum dots - a kind of tiny semiconductor - and other nanomaterials for applications like lighting and solar power. Quantum dots have also been tipped as a key component in the next generation of LCD televisions.
