Pedalling for Pudsey
BIG-HEARTED fund-raisers at Asda Runcorn have raised almost £1,500 for Children in Need.
Staff at the store organised a series of events which included a sponsored 12-hour indoor bike ride and free AA service checks for customers’ cars.
They raised £1,469 with more cash still coming in.
Dee Williams, event organiser, said: “People have been wonderful. Colleagues took 30-minute turns on the exercise bike and a few of them came in on their days off to help me out.
“A big thanks to Fitness First for lending us the bike too!”
