AN EXHIBITION showcasing four exciting contemporary artists is currently showing at the Brindley Arts Centre.
The exhibition features work by Julia Midgley, Colin Taylor, Judith Taylor and Clare Weetman, and is intended to create “an encouraging itch under the finger nails to pick up a pencil”.
Julia Midgley’s drawings document a particular moment in place and time, from the offices of DLA Piper to an archaeological dig at Stonehenge.
Also on display will be Colin Taylor’s drawings of remote mountains and far away places, Judith Tucker’s figurative work and Claire Weetman’s sculptures, photographs and drawings.
The latter, recently ran a series of workshops at the H208 event at The Stobart Stadium Halton.
The exhibition runs until November 8, and is open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-3pm.
