ICON of 80s pop culture Boy George is heading to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in October and the Weekly News has got two pairs of competition tickets up for grabs.
The former Culture Club frontman has diversified his portfolio in recent years following a return to the spotlight and now boasts DJ-ing and production credits on his CV.
In 2001, George took the helm for his own hit musical, Taboo, with performances running in London and on Broadway through 2004.
However, it is for his achievements in the 80s that George is still fondly remembered.
Worldwide number one hits included Do You Really Want to Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon and he even appeared on hit US shows such as The A-Team and Miami Vice.
A spokesman for the Philharmonic show, said: “Some say that George’s life has been a soap opera played out in the tabloids. There is, however, one undeniable truth; his incredible and instantly recognisable voice that has sold millions of albums worldwide.”
The show takes place on Sunday, October 12 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £25, £28.50 or £33.50 and can be booked on 0151 709 3789 or at www.liverpoolphil.com
